What is the Flower of Life?
The Flower of Life is a figure built from evenly spaced, overlapping circles of the same size, arranged so their centers sit on a hexagonal grid. Where the circles cross, they carve the space into petals and lens shapes, and the whole thing stays perfectly symmetrical however far it extends. It has been carved into temple walls and copied into manuscripts across thousands of years of art, long before anyone called it sacred geometry, and that quiet balance is exactly what makes it so calming to fill in.
How to color a Flower of Life
Pick the petals out in one color and the lens shapes in another, or follow a single ring around and let the symmetry carry you. There's no wrong way in. Trace over the pale lines if you want to warm up first, or print the inked version and go straight in with colored pencils, gel pens, or fine markers.
