What is a Spirograph?
Spirograph is the old drawing toy: a toothed wheel with a pen hole, rolled around the inside of a ring to trace looping curves. Mathematicians call those curves hypotrochoids and epitrochoids. This makes the same shapes without the plastic, so you get endless petals and rosettes.
How to color a Spirograph pattern
Stack two or three layers and the overlaps give you a dense rosette to pick apart one curve at a time.
Spirograph now lives in its own printable pack rather than the free generator. The studio still has a whole shelf of free patterns to generate, tweak, print and download.
