What is a block pattern?
Blocks divide the page into rectangles of varying size, closer to a De Stijl painting or a modern layout grid than to a repeating texture. Nothing tiles here, so no two pages come out the same, and the irregular sizing is what makes it interesting to fill.
How to use the Blocks generator
Treat each block as a separate panel and put a different tangle in every one. Because the boxes vary in size, you can put the fussy detailed work in the small ones and keep the big ones calm.
