Scatter pattern generator
Loose shapes tossed across the page at random sizes and angles, with room to breathe between them.

What is a scatter pattern?
A scatter is exactly what it sounds like: shapes dropped across the page without a grid holding them. Designers call it a tossed layout, and the skill is in the spacing, keeping it even enough to feel deliberate but loose enough that you cannot see the rule.

How to use the Scatter generator
There is a lot of white space here, which makes it the most forgiving page in the set. Fill the shapes and leave the background, or use the gaps to try a pattern you have not drawn before without committing a whole page to it.
It is free to generate, tweak, print, and download as many Scatter pages as you like. Every roll gives you a new one, and you can save the ones you love to come back to.
Great for: trying out new tangles and pages that stay light.
